British Curling, who run the Olympic and Paralympic curling programme for Team GB, are seeking to develop new talent in wheelchair curling in England with the aim of increasing the pool of athletes who could be eligible to represent the country in International competition and to open up opportunities for wheelchair athletes to compete inclusively with able-bodied ones at a club and national level.
EVENT: Try wheelchair curling at Cambridge Ice Arena. Coaches from British Curling and the English Curling Association will be on hand to introduce you to the sport. The session is free of charge.
WHEN: THURSDAY 28 NOVEMBER, 12:15-14:15
WHERE: Cambridge Ice Area (Newmarket Road Park & Ride – you can park free there too)
WHO: Open to all wheelchair users aged 16 years and over. All ability levels are welcome.
